Executive Recruiter

Department: Maintenance Support
Location: Denver, NC

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Maintenance & Pilot Recruiter will maintain staffing above 80%. This position will also be instrumental in employee engagement & retention as well as upholding company core values and standards

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for full cycle recruitment of Aviation Maintenance Technicians and Pilots in a highly competitive market from initial recruitment and sourcing to screening, interview and offer acceptance
  • Represent Mountain Air Cargo at industry recruiting functions, events, and seminars, promote company culture and reputation
  • Recruit candidates using a variety of sources to include career site postings, company website, social media platforms, networking and outreach
  • Stay up to date on aviation industry trends and competitors
  • Ability to efficiently review and analyze resumes to select the best candidates
  • Ability to assess potential applicants for their relevant knowledge, experience, training, skills, aptitudes, soft skills & culture fit via phone screens and in person or video interviews with hiring managers
  • Coordinate strategic communications campaigns that will help further organizational culture and goals & recruiting efforts
  • Assist with Recruiting Department Marketing & Media initiatives
  • Join social media groups & professional platforms to discuss industry-related topics
  • Monitor company website & social media pages, address client inquiries
  • Track ROI’s to measure performance of each marketing or recruiting strategy
  • Conduct must be in line with MAC core values at all times

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of professional experience in Aviation Recruitment or related field preferred
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
  • Experience working in social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, highly regulated, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines while staying organized and calm.
  • Must possess the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or concerns, by using good judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Capable of working well as part of a team as well as independently
  • Great multitasker and capable of simultaneously performing multiple projects with different deadlines
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills

Special Position Requirements:

Up to 30% Travel

Ability to work after hours, weekends and holidays when work demand dictates

None

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

Work typically performed in an office environment. However due to work requirements, may require occasional travel which could involve exposure to noise, chemicals, adverse temperatures and other similar hazards.
